Abstract :

In 2019, the Hong Kong Chief Executive suggested to carry out the demolition of Cha Kwo Ling village and other two squatter villages to solve the housing shortage.

The Cha Kwo Ling village started to develop from the 1960s, and it was described as the last squatter village in Hong KOng. With the decline of the mining and quarrying, Cha Kwo Ling village was withered. All things inside Cha Kwo Ling also withered.

More and more villagers will be moved out form the village, shops closed, abandoned houses, the decreasing amount of street cats...

The inhabitants of the village are disappearing in time, the time of the village becoming hologram was unknown, but it will comes, and the only remaining will be the abandoned things, and a set of numbers on the wall, proving the once existed lifes.
